Sharing a shuttle to Avebury
Book for your group of 1 to 7, and others going to Avebury the same day can join your shuttle, up to 8 people. Everyone in the vehicle pays an equal share of the fare, from £13.00 each with the booking fee, and nothing is taken until 2 hours before pickup.
Your shuttle is a licensed private hire car run by Premier Taxis Salisbury.
Four steps
1
Book for your group. One to three of you. Pick the day and your time from Salisbury station.
2
Nothing is taken yet. We hold the price you chose on your card. Your final price can only be the same or lower.
3
Others join your shuttle. People heading to Avebury the same day, in groups of any size. Never more than 8 people in the vehicle.
4
Your price drops as people join. The fare is shared equally between everyone in the vehicle, and each booking adds one booking fee. We take your final price 2 hours before pickup.
Who you might share with
Others heading from Salisbury station to Avebury at the same time. Each booking is one group of 1 to 7, and any number of groups can share a vehicle, but never more than 8 people.
Others sharing your shuttle see your first name, how many are in your group, and your photo only if you choose to show it. Never your surname, phone number or email.
If nobody joins
Nobody joins? Full refund, unless you choose to go private. If nobody else has joined 2 hours before pickup, we ask if you’d like the whole vehicle for £91.75. If not, your hold is released and you pay nothing. If you ticked “I’d rather go private if nobody joins”, the vehicle is yours for £91.75 in total without asking.
