Shared shuttle
Share a shuttle between Salisbury station and Old Sarum castle and everyone pays an equal share of the fare, from £3.63 each. Others heading your way join your shuttle, up to 8 people, so the price drops as they join; nothing is taken until 2 hours before pickup.
Your shuttle is a licensed private hire car run by Premier Taxis Salisbury.
Who can join your shuttle
Same direction
Both going from the station to Old Sarum, or both coming back.
Same day
Only people travelling on the same day.
Close in time
Your shuttle keeps the time of the first person who booked it, and others join it at that time.
Room in the vehicle
Never more than 8 people, in any number of groups. Your group can be 1 to 7 people, so there is always room for at least one more.
What happens after you book

Others join. Your shuttle shows on the booking page for others heading your way. Each time someone joins, we email you your new, lower price, and your trip page shows the seats taken.

You see who is sharing. Your trip page shows each person’s first name and how many are in their group, nothing more.

You pay your final price. 2 hours before pickup we take each person’s equal share of the fare, plus their booking fee, and release the rest of the hold. The licensed firm gets one booking for everyone in the vehicle.

On the day. Everyone sees the same car and driver, and who has arrived.
If nobody joins
Nobody joins? Full refund, unless you choose to go private. If nobody has joined you 2 hours before pickup, it doesn’t run and you pay nothing. Your hold is released in full and we email to let you know. If you’d rather keep it as the whole vehicle, tick “I’d rather go private if nobody joins”: your shuttle then goes ahead as a private one and you pay the difference, so £16.75 for the whole vehicle in total. You can change your mind on your trip page until 2 hours before pickup.
When we ask, reply YES to take the whole vehicle, or NO and we release the hold on your card in full. You can also answer on your trip page.

The driver works for Premier Taxis Salisbury, licensed by Wiltshire Council.
Only first names
Others sharing see your first name and how many are in your group. Never your surname, phone number or email.
Message through us
The Message button lets you say hello or "I’m running 5 minutes late" without sharing numbers.

Everyone in it pays an equal share of the fare: £7.50 each for 2 people, £5.00 for 3, down to £1.88 for 8. Each booking adds a £1.75 booking fee. Your group never pays more than £9.25 for 1 person, £11.75 for 2 or £13.00 for 3, booking fee included.

Yes. Book once for your group of 1 to 7 people, and others can join your shuttle until there are 8 in the vehicle. For 8 people, book a private shuttle.

The driver comes at the booked time. Use the Message button to keep each other posted, and tap "I’m here" when you arrive.
A shared shuttle is free to cancel from your trip page until 2 hours before pickup, whether you started it or joined it, and the hold on your card is released in full. Everyone else’s price goes back up, but never above what they were first held at. After that it’s non refundable, because the final price is set then. If you miss your shuttle, you can hop on a later one that day with free seats at no extra cost. A private shuttle is free to cancel up to 24 hours before pickup. If nobody joins, the shuttle can’t run, or we or the firm cancel, you get every penny back.
