About this journey
The way home: we pick you up at the main entrance of MoD Boscombe Down and drop you at the drop off point near the main entrance of Salisbury train station, in about 15 minutes. From £6.13 each, or £36.75 for the whole vehicle.
Your shuttle is a licensed private hire car run by Premier Taxis Salisbury.
Getting your train home
Book the shuttle to fit your train, and leave some time at the station, as the journey can take longer at busy times. Finished early or late? Book or change your shuttle on your phone, at least 30 minutes ahead.
By bus instead
Routes X4 and 8 run back to Salisbury from Boscombe Down Chambers Avenue, a short walk from the main entrance. Check the times with Salisbury Reds.
If you’re running late
Use the Message button on your trip page to tell the others sharing. More than 2 hours before pickup, you can change to another shuttle for free. Within 2 hours, including when your train is late, your seat is paid for. If you miss your shuttle, you can hop on a later shuttle with free seats at no extra cost; if no later shuttle has free seats, you book a new one at the normal price.
If nobody joins
Nobody joins? Full refund, unless you choose to go private. If nobody else has joined 2 hours before pickup, we ask if you’d like the whole vehicle for £36.75. If not, your hold is released and you pay nothing. If you need to be sure of getting to work, book private or tick “I’d rather go private if nobody joins”, and the vehicle is yours for £36.75 in total.
